Caroline Su
Co-President
Caroline is a junior at McLean High School who is interested in writing and music. Caroline believes that mental health is a huge aspect of life that is often overlooked. She is inspired to be a leader and member of Hopeful Minds Outreach because she has gone through and seen others experience mental health struggles. Felix Xu
Co-president
Felix is a junior at Langley High School. He believes that mental health is an issue that is often underestimated, and not always able to be seen on the outside. According to the CDC, around 20% of adults in the United States struggle with their mental health, but most do not show it externally. When dealing with this, music has always been a big part of his life, assisting him in small but important ways. He has played piano for over ten years, winning many different competitions. He hopes he can use music to assist others in the same ways.

Jason Pan
Jason is a junior at Langley High School with passion for critical thinking, music, and tennis. To him, mental health is an essential part of health but is often overlooked in our society. He has seen many of his peers’ struggle with mental health. Jason believes that music and physical activities are great ways to help reduce stress and stay healthy and resilient. As a leader and member of Hopeful Minds Outreach, Jason is passionate and committed in helping others to have a positive mindset and thrive.

Lillian Su
Vice President
Lillian is a junior at Langley High School with a passion for biology and visual art. She has been drawing since she was four and studied under various teachers. Lillian was inspired to become part of Hopeful Minds Outreach because of the mental health issues she has personally experienced or seen in those close to her. She believes that nobody should go through mental health struggles by themselves. Every time her mental state has struggled, drawing has always acted as a mediator in healing her, and she is able to convey her emotions into her artwork. She hopes to positively impact people in the same way through the small things in life.
